- If the 383 School District calls off classes due to inclement weather, the guild meeting is cancelled.
- Young children should not be present at guild meetings.
- Fees paid for workshops and bus trips are not refundable after the specified deadline. If members cannot attend, they should find someone to take their place.
- Members are expected to participate in as many guild activities as they can.
- $10 worth of opportunity quilt tickets will be provided to each member for their own use or for resale. In the year following member's 85th birthday, that member is eligible for an honorary membership and will no longer be assessed annual dues. However, honorary members must purchase their own opportunity quilt tickets.
- A dollar of each member's dues goes to purchase quilt-related materials for the guild library.
- A book is donated to the public library as a memorial gift upon the death of a current guild member.
- Sympathy cards are sent to guild members upon the death of a close relative. (At present this task is assigned to the secretary.)
- A guild member may volunteer to coordinate the construction of an opportunity quilt annually. The volunteer will recruit help from other guild members. The volunteers will inform the board of their interest in this project. If no volunteers step forward, the board will recruit members to manage this project.
