November's Show and Tell was a feast for the eyes!

Carol Hoogheem's appliqued Tulip quilt was greeted with oohs and aahs from guild members. What a lovely design with tulips echoed around the border. Dona Koster made this block, gray, and cream quilt for her great-nephew.

Dona also shared a UFO that was a collaborative project by eight quilting friends during the late 1990s. One quilter was never able to finish the eight quilts to give her friends, so Dona created her own block design with the names of the quilting participants. Isn't this a treasure! 

Janet Finney showed the delightfully pink quilt that she made for her granddaughter. Also shared by Janet were a mini quilt made in a workshop using the quilt curve ruler and a fun Santa pillow.

With holiday season approaching, Karen Spaeth shared these delightful wool applique' gingerbread houses! the detail is amazing!

Nancy Hubbard's quilting expertise extends to her teen granddaughter who made this denim quilt with an Angus in the center block.  What a great legacy you are nurturing!

Pam Russell completed her floral quilt from the Quilt As You Go workshop in October.  Also shared as a highlight was the heritage Dresden plate quilt that was pieced by Pam's great-grandmother, but never completed. Pam mended and finished this beauty which was enhanced by her hand quilting.

Patti Sexton created special gifts for two great nieces, who will each receive a quilt made from Asian fabrics. What a generous aunt!

Sharon Johns showed a special project that she completed, Susan Weaver's BOM Bird Quilt, which was a work in progress when Susan passed away. Sharon also treated us to a two-sided quilt with fun quotes and jokes about our avocation. 

It's time to count...the 94 pieces that Shuji Mintzer used to make her granddaughter this manatee-themed quilt.  Shuji also shared a colorful nine-block quilt. 

 Vickie Greenwood also made a quilt for a special person, her niece's baby.  The boho fabric was a find while Vickie was in Paducah at the AQS, and it is accented with hand embroidered cute little girls.

Whitney Short's Chirp quilt is a Sue Spargo wool applique' project that evokes smiles for the imaginative, cheerful birds.  Note the stitching detail on these avian delights.
