December 2025 Show and Share

As members share their creations, we are repeatedly reminded of the talented fabric artists in our guild.  Items included BOM quilts, quilts and garments made for family members, friends, or oneself...each item stitched with careful planning and love.

-Milly Harner used a t-shirt quilt made for her daughter as a means of introducing herself and explaining what inspired her to begin quilting.

-LuAnn Hoover's beautiful Christmas quilt shines with red and green stars on a white background.

-Mimi Benedick's hand made quilted jacket received rave reviews. The fabric was quilted prior to cutting out the pattern, a gift from Mimi's daughter.  The coat is lined with Mimi's own ice-dyed fabric. Wowzers!

-Alison McCullough shared her fun pieced Halloween quilt.

-Laura Soelter's colorful and intricate quilt based on a log cabin variation is a real eye-catcher.

-Ronda Willard's show and share was inspired by a previous share from Nancy Hubbard is a warm Hug Shawl that she made for her mother, who is in a senior care home. Oh...the lining is sooo cozy!

-Jody Cheatum shared another Halloween quilt, this one a BOM UFO, which she can now label DONE and have ready for next fall.

-Janet Finney's Lotsa Dots quilt was made for a young family member and is such a fun display and juxtapositioning of dotted fabrics from the same collection!

-Connie Taylor was unable to join us for our panel challenge, but she displayed her wildlife quilt featuring a dear with complemetary rustic images in the border.

-Ruth Prescott knows that the sweet butterflies surrounded by a soft purple background will please her granddaughter.

-Debbie Conrad's king-sized quilt is a gorgeous collection of earth-toned batiks. What a beauty!

-Sharon Johns has been making an animal-themed quilt for each of her grandchildren, and the latest request from a grandson was for a quilt with Golden Retrievers. I think he's going to be excited about these cute pups!
