October Show and Share

Show and Share is always a highlight of every meeting when we witness the creativity and expertise of members.

* Ronda Willard's creative design of this holiday quilt shows off her intricate winter scene embroidery meshed with pieced fabric. Nice work, Ronda!

*Lynn Colquhoun fell in love with this beautiful floral panel when she saw it at the Quilted Cow in Branson. After owning it for several years, she finally reworked the panel into her own unique pastel quilt.

*Marian Brandenburg shared her curved seams quilt from the September workshop with Nicole Moore. She also made this delightful Little Bo Peep baby quilt!  Marian's husband, Bob, has efficiently organized her fabric stash in 24 tubs with fabric coordinated by hues.

*Patty Nelson reminded us that there is no timeline for our projects (most of the time) as she shared her Block of the Month mini quilt from 2025. This was just a lead in to Patty's stunning Fresh Cut quilt, a Sue Spargo design with wool, cotton, velvet, and silk applique' on a black wool background. The fabrics are all from her stash and her stitching embellishment is spectacular. This is another true winner, Patty!

*Karen Spaeth is another wool embroidery officiando! This month she shared two small projects: a sunflower and butterfly wall hanging and a tabletopper with a scalloped edge.

*Dona Koster also participated in the September curved seams workshop, making her quilt in fall colors which was faced rather than bound.

*A third member sharing from the September workshop was Michelle Crisler who added a border with flying geese to her project.

*You can also see a composite of the workshop gals in a separate photo.

*Sharri Steele's quilt is a philanthropic project for her church. This quilt features fabric with tea related objects and will be a door prize for the Mad Hatter Tea Party.

*Linda Bittel showed a fun seasonal quilt of pumpkins, but she had to sneak in a little black cat of her own design. The quilt features so many cheerful pumpkin shapes with fabrid embellishments!
